day 5 - 12.08.11
the audiobook project is almost done.
We had to listen to the finished parts for the corrections and such ..
I was assigned to listen to grade 3 which took me almost the whole day :)
I could remember, we were making Rian eat chocolate (she doesn't eat chocolate, just in case you're wondering) and she told us that she felt like eating an eraser resulting to, not being able to finish a piece of curly tops :)) (just wanted to share :))
day 6 - 12.09.11
I got in the office at 8:59 ALMOST LATE . with just one more minute to go . :(
we continued listening to the finished parts, this time the grade 5 audiobook was divided to us four which we finished before we ate our lunch. After that grade 6 which we did the whole afternoon :)
we were able to finish all our works before we went home :))

ilang araw ang lumipas
Interview Experience - 11.24.11
Of course I was nervous ! although we were told to bring confidence, I believe I didn't have any to bring. :)
I went to the office around 9 in the morning and waited for my other companions Francis and Psalm, (for that day we also had Psalm's mom with us) I had to come early because I had to look for the unfamiliar(at that time) "Dian Street". Then we went to the office, it was pass 9 then, we met ma'am Jela, the Marketing Associate/ Event Coordinator of the company, she was the one who entertained us at first, we gave her our resumes for a start. Mr. Pocholo "the Voicemaster" Gonzales, Sir Choy, was talking to someone on the phone at that time and so we waited. As we did so ma'am Mina (Francis' best friend) came, then she entertained us as well. Moments later ma'am Jela and ma'am Mina started talking to us. I remember being asked by ma'am Mina
"di ba ikaw yung ... gustong gusto dito?me sinasabi kasi sa kin sa Paolo" she asked (this may not be the exact words)
"huh?! ako ba yun?" I denied
(I was really interested in the company when Francis told us about it.)
And so the initial interview started, and what do you know? ma'am Jela interviewed me first. I was so embarrassed of myself, I know I didn't do well like Francis and Psalm. Then we were called in Sir Choy's office, he asked us a couple of questions, gave us a couple of insights, told us the rules, then asked us when we'd be starting if he hires us? :))
He also then gave us our assignment.
I say unofficial because we haven't passed the school requirements yet.
We all came in early for our first day :) ready with our assignments. I was nervous (as always :)) so we waited in the office.
For our first task, we were to help with the new project the company is working on, and Audio book of English Encounters for Rex bookstore. We were asked to install Adobe Audition in our laptops then the files followed. For this task we had to clean up the audio recordings,together with two other interns from a different college taking up I.T. I was assigned to do grade 5, luckily, there was only one file for grade five at that time (hehehehe). As I was listening to it, it felt like the file was already edited, I got worried but still continued on cleaning it up. I finished before Psalm and Francis at that time (just because of the lucky file). We were told to help each other then. And so we did, and then I experienced editing an actual raw material. It was nice :) though I'm kind of getting use to the process so I was slow .
We finished all the files we were suppose to edit before leaving the office at 7:30pm that day.
Day 2 - 11.30.11
The same task was given, editing /cleaning up the materials for the audio book project. We met a couple more interns, marketing students from other school.
Francis, Psalm and I decided to stay over night in the office because we had a deadline for the project and it is on the next day already :)
Sir Choy checked us up, he was teaching the marketing interns some stuffs. He asked how we're doing with the editing and being the cool guy he is he told some stories about his experiences as a public speaker and a bunch of other stuffs then told us an interesting trivia.
he asked "what is the best invention made?"
all interns in the room guessed , and guessed, and guessed, until one got the hit.
"buttons" he says. as to why .. well, you better just ask sir Choy (hehehehe)
Since, Last friday I only had a couple of files to edit, this time, grade 5 files piled up. I wanted to finish before we went to bed that time. but I couldn't I slept at 11:45 pm trying to do so.
Day 3 - 12.01.11
It was an early start for the three of us we woke up at 5am. I started to work again at 7am. Rian joined us, she came in before 9am.
We were still editing for the audio book. I continues what I have left hanging the night before. This time, after being "tambak" with files from the last day I was able to take some time off because i was able to finish all the files that were tasked to me. But since we all wanted the project to be done we helped each other out :) (obviously i love the helping each other part :))
I finished all my task for today before going home around 9pm
Day 4 - 12.02.11
I was almost late ! I was really pissed with the traffic and the "sugapa sa pasahero" jeepney drivers
I got in the office around 8:45am (I think)
Since we have finished our task from the last day and there were still no recorded files to edit we waited. As we were waiting, we used the spare time to do some academic works.
Sir Choy checked on us again, since he saw some of us were done with our tasks, He gave us other things to do while still waiting for the audio files. Rian and I were told to download sound effects from the internet.
when new recordings came in I switched to editing mode. :)
I was the last to finish the editing before going home, I made my companions wait, (nyahahaha)
INSIGHT :)
what I like about training/working in Creativoices is that we are treated as staffs, giving us tasks where we could learn as well as incorporate what we have been learning in school over the past years. Our heads are really hands-on, accommodating and friendly yet professional working people. :)

kinakailangan naming sumailalim sa PAGSASANAY sa isang kompanya na nagsasagawa ng mga gawaing ukol din sa aming kursong kinuha.
